We’re still a week away from Thanksgiving, but it’s already looking like a winter wonderland in parts of northern New Jersey, after heavy snow piled up Thursday night through early Friday morning.
One high-elevation area of Sussex County — Highland Lakes — picked up a full foot of snow, and a measurement taken Friday morning at High Point Monument showed a whopping 20 inches of snow on the ground, according to the latest reports from the National Weather Service.
